Well yes and no...Most "device" style chastity devices like the CB-3000 for men (as opposed to the belt style like the Neosteel) are easily worn long term. There should be no problem wearing it for days, weeks, months or some accounts say up to 12 or more months (some of these 'long term' accounts are probably fictional). Now, that being said men need to wash their penis at least every few days and more often if he is not circumcised. Also, this assumes that the device fits properly and there is no chaffing or sores forming anywhere in the genitals - use a little lubrication on a daily basis around the device. The best way to start is short periods at a time and work up to longer terms. Men do need to basically "re-train" there cock. Nocturnal erections can be a bit painful at first but soon your body becomes accustomed. Go slow because neither the Dom or the subbie chastity boy want to cause real problems with the pee pee. (Oh god what subs do to make there Mistress's happy!) Going the the toilet is not problem with this style of belt. Though most men will need to sit to pee. It's a little different for a full "chastity belt" that has the front shield and waist band. All women and some men where this style of belt. Women need to wash...ideally daily. You don't want to cause a yeast infection or something worse. Now I don't have this style of belt but it read it's possible to get a "shower hose" and run it under and inside the belt. This will flush the area with fresh water and offer some cleaning. Also, taking a bath will allow some flushing of the device as well. Urinating with a belt on is usually not problem. All users will need to sit to pee. Having a bowel movement "may" be a different story. If you wear a belt that offers a "single" metal bar that runs between the ass cheeks it's possible, but cleaning up may take a little more time. This type of belt is made for long term wear. Also, some belts like the Neosteel offer a "round hole" in the back that allows a user to move his/her bowls. Now some short term chastity belts have a "full shield" that covers the arse. If you are wearing this shield you will need to remove it before your bowel movement. What it comes down to is there needs to be some "every other day" contact with the keyholder so bathing can take place.Unfortunately, no chastity device is 100% perfect or absolutely comfortable and some are better than others for each individual. It takes some practice to wear for longer periods, but once you get used to wearing it, sitting and moving around it is quite tolerable.
