Let me get this straight; some people believe that they need their ass-pussy locked up? I guess that would prevent subs from spending all their time shoving things in their asses. I see no practical reason for a locking butt plug. If my Mistress tells me to put a plug in my ass it will stay there until she tells me to take it out. The last thing on my mind is to take the plug out, just to get at my ass for a little playtime.

I dont think the plug is to prevent YOU from getting at your own ass, I could think of one or two other scenarios...
You keep the plug in when I tell you because no device can inflict as much pain in your ass as me! It does look neat though... maybe after the newness of the 'curve' wears off...
