Tip of Hurricane Season
We stayed during the last week of Hurricane Season. The hotel was at 20-30% capacity and a block of hotel rooms were closed. I think this is why they were short on staff and towels. We requested extra bathroom towels but no one came up and they also ran out of beach towels daily by noon. The upside: it wasn’t crowded, we had hot water (which I heard is a problem when it’s at capacity), the group that was there was awesome and participated in the activities. We met some really great couples and everyone was friendly and fun. Also, the price $$ was nice b/c it was off peak season.

The restaurants were great, take advantage of the Japanese & Italian restaurants on the resort. They are wonderful options for the all inclusive price!

Its a state of mind
You have to have an open mind, and when you do, its a one of a kind experience. You go to Hedo for the experience and the freedom, not for luxurious pampering.

Take your clothes off and enjoy yourself. If youre there to watch youll be bored. Participate.
