I have found that the best way is to use a hair conditioner, its job is to soften hair, and it is very slick and the razor glides along smoother than shave cream or jell. I have been using it for quite a while and would recommend you try that.

When you have finished and rinsed/washed down and dried yourself, spray the freshly shaved area with an anti-perspirant, NOT deodorant or anti-perspirant deodorant, just an anti-perspirant. Seriously, it does not sting and closes all the pores leaving ou feeling smooth.

My duty is to always be clean and hairless I found the right combo for me was to shave with a new razor every three to four days. Razor rash was at a min.
